Emerging indie country recording artist Wynn Williams celebrates the release of his newest song, “Heaven On A Hardwood Floor.”* The modern-day Texas dancehall twirler with vintage appeal is Available Now via all major digital retail and streaming platforms under the Good Company Entertainment Records imprint.
Written by Gary Stanton, Charlie Muncaster and Rhett Akins, and produced by Brandon Hood, the recording is a retro throwback firmly planted in today’s contemporary country soundscape. The twangy guitar opener kicks the boot-scootin’ tune into gear; simplistic production leaves the floor wide open for Williams’ crystalline vocals that rouse a vision of a neon angel comin’ through swingin’ doors to become late-night Honky Tonker’s dream.
Drawing from Williams’ kinship with classic country and iconic sounds, the track is a quintessential blend favoring traditional influences enriched by popular 80s and 90s recordings akin to legendary Texas recording artists, George Strait and the “Beaumont Boys” (Mark Chesnutt and Tracy Byrd), that shaped the genre.
“As soon as I heard the demo, I knew it was spot on—fitting the vibe of the new project and the perfect kick off to my new album; the song complements the entire premise of COUNTRY THERAPY,” said Williams. “It’s about making plans to go out on the town, scootin’ a boot under the neon glow and, perhaps, finding a new summertime fling. You might just fall in love, spinning her around to ‘Heaven On A Hardwood Floor’!”
The new tune is in keeping with the young stylist’s previous recordings and is the lead track from his new album, COUNTRY THERAPY, anticipated in late August 2025.
Williams’ 2025 show schedule includes dates in Mexico, Canada and Europe (for his fifth consecutive time); he will take the stage in three performances at CMA Fest-2025 in Nashville, TN. (June 4 – “Turn It Up Texas” @ Category 10 / June 5 – BMI Stage / June 6 – “Jake Owen & Friends” @ Ascend Amphitheater). For more tour information, visit: https://www.wynnwilliamsmusic.com/tour
